Nice day of dairy and Popsicles. Popsicles have got to be my kids favorite thing to eat. I always have otterpops in the house because we go through them so fast! They LOVE them

More Valentines Pics 2011

Joey's Valentine

This was probably the cutest thing Joseph has done for Valentines day. Joeys 4 and growing up fast. She was so excited to see that she also got something from daddy.

This year was a little bit easier at the desert. The kids had their motorcycles and Brody had his quad.....until he begged to ride Joeys motorcycle and then the running began!!!! He doesn't understand the whole brake thing and he wanted to ride a few times, so of course Joseph and I took turns running next to him. I like the desert, but the thought of us having to run and worry about him makes me a little uneasy, but the kidos love it:)

Christmas Lists

I LOVE Christmas!!! From the decorations to the kids getting so excited to open presents weeks before. This year Max and Joey each wanted a Nintendo ds. Boy, they are expensive!! I asked a few times if they would share, but they were very persistent that they each wanted black with a skin(aka..cover), dogs and one saints. I want to remember cute things they asked for so they can look back and see how cute they were and their toys they had to have. For Max this year once again, it was all about the saints- Saints football card folder, and football cards, Saints football bag. All his stocking stuffer were saints stuff. The reason he likes the Saints so much because they won superbowl when he was four and thought that they were so cool! I tell Joseph all the time how lucky he is when all Max wants to do is watch sport center and records the games for him if hes home late. Joey asked for some funny things- wanted a Ken doll, that looked like Kaden(boyfriend)lol. I was so excited when she wanted a Barbie toy, then I found out a boy:( She makes me laugh. She also wanted a curious George PJ animal and microphone sing along toy too. Brody- he loves anything with tools and trains. He loves to dress up and just loves about any toy that moves or makes sounds. Its so fun to have two boys who are so opposite in things they like and personality. Brody and Joeys Christmas clothes were Elmo PJ's. Have them wear that cheesy stuff when there young. Its cute, except the cheesy shoes. Wont buy Brody Dora ones-lol

These are some cute Christmas pics of our kids and their cousins from both sides. We are very blessed to have little ones around the same ages, it just makes occasions more fun!!!!

We thought this year we would start a little tradition with the kidos. Decorating Christmas Cookies!!! The kids had a great time together and Oma always has fun with 6 kids and a mess!!

Christmas 2011

This year was alot of fun at the Bakker Christmas party. Not only did Santa come again, Mrs. Claus gave us a sweet surprise. My parents aka-Mr. and Mrs. Claus always come through, but I still get embarrassed by them like it was high school all over again. Guess that feeling never goes away completely-lol

My favorite pictures of the kids are when they are just in the moment. When theres no begging them to smile and it comes naturally!!!!

This is Joey at Preschool. She loved it and she was a angel in her Christmas program!! Very appropriate:)

These are the Christmas pics from 2011. I'm sure hoping with less kids at home I can get back on track with all the cute pictures and memories of the kids. I loved this photo session. It was suppose to be half a hour, but someone didn't show and i had almost a hour. They were taken by Kelly from Schaap Studios. I'm already thinking about colors for this years Christmas card:)

Nothing better than the beach!

Kelly, Rhonda and I took the kids to Avila beach this past summer. We went to the pumpkin patch first and just strolled around, then took the kids to the beach! It was so relaxing out there and the weather was beautiful. The water was alittle cold, but some kids did actually get in. They had more fun just playing in the sand and throwing the football.
